Gear Ratio

Ever since last ride I had a slight vibration and a little noise coming from my rear end - thought it was the CV or pinion bearing. Checked it out sat and was neither so i pulled the diff cover and found a few chipped teeth and a shitty looking pinion gear. Not sure at all when I did this but those gears have been in there for 2.5 years. Anyway to the point I am running 6.17 and looking to get a bit more wheel speed I guess so looking to go a bit higher - just looking for some opinions.

Atlas is 3.0 so thinking 5.38 or 5.13 - any suggestions??

I run 5.38 with 3.0 tcase and 42's. Works good for me. Either should be fine.

5.13 or 5.38. With the tall tires probably 5.38
