I was wondering if anyone has used the 6.4 to 1 or 6.5 to 1 transfer case gear sets any input would be helpful. I have an 87 sammy with stock gears.I want to run 31 or 33's and dont know what would be the best way to gear it? t-case or ring and pinion gears any advise would be helpful

The 6.5 T case gears are great. If your going to run 31's that will be the biggest bang for your buck. Lower R&P are good also but I went through to many 5.38 gears and finally switched to a D44 and Ford 9" combo. I run Calmini's 5.8 T case in mine and love it.

Hey there; I run 4:88's in my toy axles, and 6:1 gearset in case, and 33" LTB's---love the gearing options, and it actually has sufficient poo to run @60mph
