Does anyone know anyone that does dimple die work. I had a buddy that did it and he moved away. I would like to do some on my new project. I know dies are not cheap so I was wondering if someone had some.

id be interested also. it seems you cant have a buggy with dimple dies....

dont **** around, the next fad is almost around the corner. :awesomework:

Id hate to see you intsall yesterday on your rig.:haha:

Dimple dies add a lot of rigidity to a piece of thin flat stock...on top of lightening it up.

Gets rid of oil canning when you weld it in as well. I personally like using them where I don't need a bunch of extra material hanging out doing nothing and where I can use a piece of 10 guage sheet metal thats been lightened up to make a bracket thats stiff and solid as using a piece of 3/16" in the same spot.

Look at buying cold rolled material for any plate work your doing its a bit stronger than H.R.

I know lots of people over use them and that its been used as a trend in off road builds but I only would like a few here and there to use to lighten up and strengthen some parts. Ill talk to S&N and see if they do it. Thanks.

I dont know how much they charge, but I bought three light racing dies for ~$130 (.75", 1.0", and 1.5"). I used them on some panels for my flatbed, love them.
