I'm changing my set up I'm running v8 465/205 and tons . I'm putting Rockwell in it now with 44s I'm wanting to change trans set up now wanting to go to th350 /Dana 300 with 4.1 kit . My question is the 4.1 kit going to be to much gearing with the Rockwell ??? and ill have to run at least a 2800 or 3000 stall converter

I'm not sure if this helps but I am running 350/350/300(4:1) with tons 5:38 gearing on 46's (measure to be about 43) and it works good i actually think i could use a little lower gearing and of course it depends on what kind of riding you do.

Run the 205. You will kill that 300, rockwells will give you more confidence to start hitting stuff harder. And the 205 with a 350 th is a very good setup, I love the gearing in mine like that.

going to automatic I'm hoping ill save parts I just didn't know if I was going to run out of gear and get no wheel speed .

My last buggy was a 454 th350 and I started out with a 4.3 atlas on 44's. It was awful!!! No tire speed at all. I spoke with WOD and they run Rockwells on a 3.0 case. So I changed the gears and can't wait to see how it runs now...

I've got a 3:1 with Rockwells. 1st gear is tractor low. I have to switch to high range to run between trails.
