Good Deal??? Important

Found an 02 sahara editon TJ in the scrap yard today. 6 banger auto, everything complete and clean. Minus radiator and A/C. No sign of wire hack and oil looks good. I mean, this thing looks pristine sitting on top the scrap heep. The guy wants 400 bucks for it. Looks like you could get a key made, put a battery and wheels on it and drive it to the grocery store... No title of course. Just wanted to know what you guys think. Possible buggy or part it out. Just another day of fishin at the salvage yard. :fish:

So now I own the $400 dollar TJ. Turns out someone stole the main ecu and all the fuses, but the plugs are still in tact where is used to be.

So needed parts list:
Radiator
Computer
AC Pump

Got some freeby wheel sn tires today to roll it around, I'lll post up some pics tomorrow.

Whats the general concensus on it's plan. Should i part it out, fix it up stock wheelable, or go all out tonnage????

And No it's not stolen. I mean, don't you see TJ's with all the copper gone all the time for $400 bucks ;D

Here's a pic of the beast.... Hacve a lot of the parts that came dissasembled in the tub that just need to be reinstalled...

Up for trade for something of equal value- Mig welder, bender, etc...

How rough does the engine appear to be ?? I wonder if the bottom end of the 4.0Ls is interchangable ?

The bottom end should swap.

Engine is clean as a whistle. Don't know the mileage, because i kinda don't have a key... Yet...

Not sure if I want to start parting it out yet, but hey we'll see what we can do. Might be interested in just getting rid of the whole thing..

Asking $300 for the tranny, comes with shifter, boot, etc... was in my 99 TJ, has 120,000 miles on it, rebuilt around 85,000 due to the reverse going out in it.
