I cant catch a fuggin break man... my longfield joint is ****ed up, i could buy caps and run it but the no bushing **** has me convinced Id just **** up another set of caps anyway. The cross is galled a bit and the cap well.... Ill post a pic laughing1

I bought the shortside inner chromo from Keith today. Im sitting on the cash awaiting Lunch to get in the Ham with shafts, Ill be strapped down with inners but Im still gonna be suckin awaiting another ujoint from Cali. ****.. :'(

I will, but that doesnt get me right in two days.. Fuggin why doesnt anyone on the east machine the bling bling.... plenty of capable shops,people, equipment. :dunno:

Ive never dealt with them on warranty, I have with CTM, and ill say.... bobby has ALOT to live up to because Jack hooked me up huge. All I hear are horror stories of this situation and that. My situation is long / chromo outter / stretched ear stock spicer. Hardly Bobby's fault if you look at it with logic. :-\ and I'm not one to lay fault in a product in an application that it wasnt really designed around. I dont know his policy on running his joints with stock shafts though..

honesty is the best policy with bobby... I've seen it be the user's fauly (300lb of water in tires bombing thru the desert in 4 hi with a spool front) on his toy chromos... and he's waranteed it. I think your approach can help ya.

There is a thread in the AZ wheeling about him replacing and offering the money back on one of his ultimate 60 setups. I think he is top notch and you should not have a problem. Now for this weekend, I have no clue. I am sure there is a short side you can borrow from someone. I know Joe has a complete set of spares.

You can see the slop here..

Both the caps that were in the inner side are damaged , obviously from beating back and forth. I think this is a pretty solid testament to how damn strong those crosses/trunnions have to be on these joints. To be in that amount of shear and take the shock from beng loose and slamming back and forth...

People keep ****ing with Long's warranty and he will go under. i think he almost did once. That AZ thread kinda pisses me off. Oversteered birfs, her sends a new set and then it happens again and he refunds a wad of cash. I think he gets used and his warranty gets looked at and tested in every direction.

Sorry P, I just think it is what it is, a messed up joint and shafts. no more no less.

I said several times I dont feel its his product to blame. I agree with you Bones... Muchado is the one tryin to use Bobby up :flipoff1:

The joint held, the spicer didnt joint and spicer didnt get along and play well together thats all. Im going to see if I can just purchase caps or something along those lines, the joint itself is fine, the caps are trashed though.

I dont know... I doubt other caps would work since these are machined fit with no bushings...

He doesnt list anything about caps or rebuilds on his website that I found... :dunno:

Well if you just tell him you need caps and what happened I'd imagine it being cheep or free... I was under the impression after your first post that you needed a whole joint
