It's finally here!! Got my EFI harness in today. I Also got the new plug to change over the distributor I got out of an 81 caddy to work with the new chip I got to control the spark. So far I am buttoning up a few wires from the new Chassis harness I installed (Neutral Safety Switch, and Tail lights left). Next will be to install the new EFI harness (should be a breeze). Then I still have to run ground wires to everything, ground the frame, motor, and body...Then mount the computer with the new chip behind the new dash I had laser cut the other day. Now I just have to save a little and order all my gauges to fit in the new dash. I do have one question that I have been researching but can't seem to find a definitive answer. I have a TH400 and was wondering if I need a kickdown switch on a trail rig. The stock one just won't work with the GM Throttle body. It originally was mounted with the carb and the throw on the throttle linkage is different so I forgot about it for awhile. I can always get a lokar one but was unsure if I even needed it on a trail rig?? Anyone have any insight? Another couple of weeks and it might actually run!!! :D

Made a lot of progress over the weekend. Got the EFI harness all hooked up except for the CTS and the IAT sensor. I'm gonna pick up an optima hopefully this weekend so I can test the rest of the new wiring. I have been using a small battery charger and got the headlights and blinkers working, but need a battery to test the starter and ignition system. Only problem I have run across so far is that both blinkers work from the column, but when you turn on the flashers only the passenger side works?? All in all the jeep is coming back to life, thats the first time its had any signs of life in about 5 years.

GET IT !!! One day youll have it in the woods and youll be bustin those lights off left and right anyway !!! ;D
