It's finally here!! Got my EFI harness in today. I Also got the new plug to change over the distributor I got out of an 81 caddy to work with the new chip I got to control the spark. So far I am buttoning up a few wires from the new Chassis harness I installed (Neutral Safety Switch, and Tail lights left). Next will be to install the new EFI harness (should be a breeze). Then I still have to run ground wires to everything, ground the frame, motor, and body...Then mount the computer with the new chip behind the new dash I had laser cut the other day. Now I just have to save a little and order all my gauges to fit in the new dash. I do have one question that I have been researching but can't seem to find a definitive answer. I have a TH400 and was wondering if I need a kickdown switch on a trail rig. The stock one just won't work with the GM Throttle body. It originally was mounted with the carb and the throw on the throttle linkage is different so I forgot about it for awhile. I can always get a lokar one but was unsure if I even needed it on a trail rig?? Anyone have any insight? Another couple of weeks and it might actually run!!!
