OK just picked it up from Pat and I tested it out before I left the parking lot. Drove it off the little wall he has all the vehicles lined up on.:redneck: Works great!! No more dented oil pans or tranny's for me. :awesomework:

Here's some pics.

Sweeeet:cool: 1/4 plate? That things long:corn:

yep 1/4" I told Pat to do whatever he want's. He knows I bbeat the **** out of this thing. So my jeep was kinda the test rig for a new design. It's ready for linking too. Just needs tabs welded on and then brackets on the axle. So you can probably guess what will be in the near future. :redneck:

too weak.. :redneck: custom long arms, 4 linked. Cant decide if I want to pony up and get Fox air shocks or just use stock TJ coils for now. :booo:

How are going to do long arms with that belly pan w/o cutting it down shorter or making the weelbase 120"?

The skid isn't as long you think. The bar going across for the link bars is right under the SYE output. I plan on stretching my WB about 6" when i do it. (99"-101") Bur if it needs some trimming for the links, thats not a problem.

Where can I get one?

Those Guys rod and custom's. (360) 373-7099

But I went and measured what the links would be at the current rear axle location. 30" for the lowers if at a 90* to the axle. Which it will be about a 70* or somewhere around there with the WB stretch. So I'm guessing the lowers will be around 40". That sound about right?? :eeek:

having all that tonage down low like that will help keep you from rolling so often Jon. (lower COG):eeek:

you have more mounting points right I mean the two bolt's on either side aren't the only ones right..Look's sick though:awesomework:

Looks like a good scoop feature there too, but I may be wrong. It is clear from front to rear, right? What I mean is, there isn't a bar, or lip, at the back to keep junk held there, right? It just seems it might be a good idea to have the front curved up a bit to cut down on it catching on anything.

Just a thought. I don't know trail armor worth beans.

ahh the pic's dont do any justice, but the front is slanted up. We also used the stock 6 mounting points on the frame and added 2 additional (side mounts). also the rear is supported with a cross member for the link tabs to-be..

Adding weight is adding weight...it all adds to the load your drivetrain see's

...and it also adds to the amount of weight you have to overcome when going up an obstacle or trail...

Looks really beefy but I'd 45 degree bend plate at the front and back ends. Sucks when you get hung up on your belly pan.

A good chance you could of gone to 3/16" if it was bent up. My pan on the ftoy is 3/16 and all though its been bent a bit, it has no framing other than the bent lips.
