Has any one here added a spacer lift to there actally lift kit. i was thinking of getting a 4.5 lift. but that only clears up to a 32" with no triming. i was thinking of adding a 1.5-2.0inc spacer lift to that so i can run 33" with no rubbing. is this possible or will it cause problems?

Extend your bumpstops appropriately and you can run 33's with minimal to no axle relocation. Long arms help.

are you planning on wheelin it much? if its just going to be a street rig you can easily run 33's with the 4.5" without trimming. youll only have rubbing issues when off road articulating and steering

adding another 2" to your lift is only going to cause more problems with short control arms and track bar. unless whatever kit you have has new arms and trackbar. Also getting into a 4.5+ lift you might run into rear driveline problems. Then a Slip yoke eliminator and new CV drivline might become a necessity. brakelines can be an issue as well

i would say leave it at 4.5" and run 33's. drive for a while and see if and where it rubs and you can do very minor trimming. but chances are you wont even need to

I ran a 3.5-4" lift plus 2" coils and still had to trim the bumpers a little to clear when "flexed" on my 93 Grand Cherokee
