Groovin creepys?

I have been googling this am my dad wants to groove his creepy crawler stickies and have not seen them done. Is there danger with doing this with a sticky? He is down to about 1/4 tread. I thought maybe we would widen the voids a little and deepen them a little.

i've seen plenty of guys cut more tread into the center blocks just don't go past where you see cords..good way to get a couple more seasons out of your stickies..

Ordered the groover. Going to give it a shot and see if we can tease some more life out of it. He was annoyed because my tsls smoked him last night in the frozen ground and loose stuff.
