old school trickto find a vacuum leak around the intake since you obvoisly took it off to do the heads.Spray some WD 40 sparingly in places in small increments around the gaskets and front and back seal gasket. If the engine idles up for a second or 2 you found a leak if it is vacuum related. But clean off all the WD 40 so it won't eat up the new gaskets and seals.also the base gasket on the carb, but shield the over spray from carb intake or you will get a false up rev.use the little red applicator to do this also.
