I have a set of rouge fab centers on a set of h1 's and in the course of one month I have bent 3 of them they are supposed to be very strong is there anyone else have a set and can give me some feed back on their experience with h1 centers the reasons I chose the rouge fab centers was the ability to run 2.5 backspacing any info would be helpful

I run Trailworthy pressed centers on two different rigs. I have bent stock inner wheel shells but never a center.

Just thinking out loud here,

I wonder if you could order 17" pressed centers and they would fit farther out in the "bell" so you could have less backspacing.

I like where your head is at that would be something to think about can you find 17 pressed centers? and why hasn't someone made a pressed center that allows more backspacing hell I think every company that offers the pressed centers must be getting them from one supplier and adding their markup

I think you might be on to something...

Not sure about 17" centers. I would start by calling Allied or Eaton or some wheel shops that do custom wheel work for hot rods and such and see if they will sell you some centers.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that the pressed centers that everyone sells are actually 17" wheel centers, since when you drop them in an h1 wheel shell they rest in the bell, not on the drop like a regular wheel.

So therefore you probably need some 18" centers, which I'm pretty sure don't exist in a pressed steel aftermarket wheel

Call up MRW out of Siloam Springs. They can help you out.

Would it be possible to flip the shells around for better BS? Kind of like is done with regular rims and reverse center for 2.5" or so of BS.

just my .02, but with the 2.5" back spacing you are putting a lot of stress on the wheel centers due to leverage. that might be where the problem is.

I agree.
