I have an old set of spare doors for my truck that I have wanted to make half doors out of. The one design concept I am still unsure of is the widow frames.

I have seen most guys just hack them off. However, I

right I understand that a full door will help hold the shape better then having no doors.

But with a half door would just the window frame being left on the door really help support the pillars? seems to me those frames aren't that strong, maybe I'm wrong.

It's just something the tree's around here like to rub up on.The rock's too but mostly the tree's.and if you have a 110 or more wheel base rig you'll know what I'm talking about...

Yes the door frame does make a diffrence and it adds a lot to the A pillars and cab, but with that said a cage is a must have when wheeling.....

Yea a cage would be nice, someone to pay for my cage materials would be nice.

Someone to pay for the materials and someone to pay to have it built would be even nicer cuz I don't have the cash or the time currently for a cage which is why I just keep it right side up.

I left mine on...
