Posting for dad:

Spoke with Randy Morris tonight, as everyone's aware MMORV will be running ShamRock 08. They need volunteers to pull that off Jonica offered to run it for Randy for $5000 which is insane, so we need to stand up and help Randy. Who can volunteer which days? If we can get 10-12 people for one day then it'll work.

Randy said we could have free food and lodging if we need it, and also a free day to ride.

Also, we need to do a workday up there before the event and need to make a date for everyone, thoughts?

I will work during the event on Sat or Sun (or both). I think a workday or two prior to the event would be helpful also. $5k are you fawking serious, she sure is fond of herself

5k is that for real..... Im gonna throw a BS flag on that one, no way she thinks they can pull 5k outta that... surely she isnt that stupid laughing

Ill work the event, as long as it donest hit any XRRA dates Ill work what ever needs to be work for Randy thumb.gif

This is the kind of support I was expecting. :drinkers: Now, if we can double our numbers we can cover the park for one day. Pick a day. Morris Mountain members will cover the other day. I guess I'll be working both days as I'm a member there also. Surely everyone knows a responsible working "guest" they could bring with them. If Hardline can committ to cover Saturday I'm sure MM members can cover Friday and Sunday. Thanks in advance for your DIRECT help to the offroad community.

Ill go out on a limb and say we can come up with a few more responsible persons to WORK and put in an effort for Randy and MMORV thumb.gif

I'll be shooting the event so I'm not going to be able to help myself. However I talked with Jamie Marsh and he's in to help whenever needed. So that's one more.

If we can manage the entire park from 6:30 am until 9 -10 pm Saturday that would be good with Randy. I spoke with him tonight and he is very grateful for our help. We'll need registrars, tee shirt sales, maps, traffic directors, and trail assistance/trash pickup. These are some long hours for a small club but I'm sure we can pull it off. I hope to bring 3-4 extra helpers.
Again, there are some perks available. Randy has comitted to pay for lodging and meals for volunteers. Of course, admission is free Friday and Sunday to volunteers. With enough volunteers we could have two eight hour shifts. How about some feedback? dunno

I am in, I will work whatever is needed on Saturday and I can probably get another volunteer their to help. I have to work on Friday, but I would like to wheel on Sunday.

I am in as well, I can bring at least two volunteers ( responsible ie my dad and my wife ...possibly a few others )

Great planning, this will put us out there as a club that means business too thumb.gif

I will make Laura attend with me and we can get there as early as needed.. Like I said in an earlier post I might only be able to work into the afternoon. I know this is going to blow your mind, but I have a wedding to attend that evening.
