By popular demand, a return (for some) trip to Tellico has been planned. Please post up if you are in or not and if you want to stay in a cabin. If we have enough, we can rent the cabin that sleeps 10 and split the cost.

September 28-30th – Hardline Crawlers @ Tellico OHV
Leave Thursday night, ride Friday & Saturday, come home Sunday

At the meeting last night the following people said they were in for Tellico:

Still waiting on a definate from TK and Joe.

Based on the numbers above the Grand Cherokee would be right down our alley. It has 2 kings beds, 2 sets of bunks, and 2 twins. Total of 3 bedrooms and two baths. Rate for 8 people would be $25/night per person which equals $75/per person for the weekend including tax. I am going to put a deposit on it in the next couple of weeks and the full amount is due 30 days prior to our stay.
 
Should be a really great trip. I do hope the wife comes along. I think this would be a good "family" trip for the club. 8)
 
Yeah it would be fun, but that is a long way to drive to be a spectator. Have fun buddy, we can do it the weekend before but that is the weekend after the CUCA, so it will probably put you guys in a bind either way.

Not exactly. This is really a me trip if you know what I mean. I want to go CRAWL or not. My idea is to drive to overland park, KS(12 hours from bham) then ride with Rob Dubroc from there to CO springs(9 hours). Who knows if I can make it happen though. Or, Randy Rodd told me he'd fly me out. But I really, really don't want to fly...
 
Taking vacation for Sept. Tellico trip so hell yea I'm in.
21 hours in a truck or flying, **** no brainer Ricky fly.

The only cabins they had free were Shannon's Place and the Creekside Inn, both on Hanging Dog Road, about a mile from the main cabins on Trail 1. Man these things book up quick! One sleeps 7 and one sleeps 6, so I got us both just in case the wives go. If not, I will cancel one of the two, they both look sweet though. The rate if we just use one cabing is $192.5/night which breaks out to $82.50/person for the whole weekend! That is a killer deal for a bangin ass cabin. Price would really not change much if we have to do both cabins, as long as they were both full. The rental fee is due 30 DAYS prior to our stay, which is August 25th or so, which will be the date we need to know if wives and passengers are coming.

Stayed ay Creekside twice it's OK in my book, never been in the other. I'm sure its OK too they all are.
 
OK guys we need to finalize who is in/out tommorrow at the meeting so I can finalize the cabns. If you can please bring cash/check tommorrow at the meetin so we can be done with the planning on this one.

I know for sure my wife is out. We have invited Jake and I am sure John will also get an invite again. TK, if John and you came would you bring your campers/motor homes or would you just chip in on the cabin? Price still looks good for $80-100 person for the weekend, final number depends on # of people.

Jake won't know if he can get off work for a while. From the sounds of it, there are two guys that want off, only one can be. If the other guy can't get tickets to the bama game, Jake's in.

Let me get with Nan, I'm sure we will though. I did not see a conflict on my calendar. Probably take the RV and bum some power if there is a level spot. Otherwise Crawfords, but that is a long drive.
 
I need someone to touch base with Jake again and see if he is in. I don't have his number...

I have us down for 8 total right now which means we will have both the Creekside Inn and Shanon's Place, 4 in each.

I guess us "riders" need together for a "riders" meeting to organize, winch cable pulling techniques , picture taking 101 and spotter etiquette :flipoff1:
