Hardline Shirts

I reached out to Matt @ BK to try to get another round made more than once and finally said forget it. More than once I have been close to just doing it myself but don't want the headache.

I got with Matt yesterday and he will be posting up the link shortly. I have tried to get with him about this numerous times with no response, but now he is on it. I am trying to make it where he can leave it up all the time so anyone can order the HLC shirts any time of the year. We are working on hoodies as well thumb.gif

Is it too late to change this? Jessica does promo products for a living and can most likely get us better quality and pricing. Definitely better service. I would rather keep the money "in house" so to speak than give it to BK.

edit: Also if you guys ever wanted anything else Hardline branded she can do it. Literally anything under the sun, blows my mind some times the things companies request from her with their logo. But she can do it.

Gregg having a reason to call a young girl. Enough said.

I'm down for whatever, but definitely some good hoodies, sweaters and even a big winter jacket.

Cold weather in VA sucks and I would love to arrive to work wearing one of these.

IMO if the current supplier is hard to get a hold of and unresponsive, would it not make more sense to take our business elsewhere to someone who actually wants it? If I'm not mistaken, doesn't hardline count on t shirt sales to pay the bills?

He catches **** on here occasionally. So I'm sure that probably plays a role in that.

More reason to take him out of the equation IMO.

I'm not sure I follow you guys on this one. Go to link and order from there. Was there some trouble with the ordering of the shirts that I don't know of? Seriously, I was not aware of this. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

I have spoken with other suppliers, but they cannot offer any rebate back to HLC. We need it to pay for the Site Hosting costs and other incidentals to keep this ship afloat.

From these messages, yours included Gregg, it sounds like it's hard to order a HL t-shirt?

My response was simply, if our current supplier can't accommodate, find another. I don't know the details but seemed like simple business to me. I'm good with whatever the powers that be decide to do.

Nah, it seemed very simple last time to me Chris. In the criteria for ordering the shirts, he needed a certain amount of shirts pre ordered, then after that was reached, he went ahead and knocked them out and was still doing that afterwards. As for asking about more shirts after the original order has been filled, he needs HLC authorization to produce more. If there is any further issues, let's address them as needed. I am trying to work it so it would be an open store, but he will need to make that decision himself.

I can understand that. If he runs a certain amount and then doesn't run more until those run out etc. It sounded like folks were having issues just placing orders. So if there are other factors involved, it is what it is.

There weren't issues (that I know about) actually ordering once the link was set up. It just took forever to get the ball rolling on the initial decision, and then once the link closed and we tried for another round we were getting no responses.

Matt setting up the link on his website was probably the easiest route to go for all parties involved because they are used to that sort of thing & shipping apparel out daily and so on.

I think part of it had to do with the fact that Gregg was the only "OG" trying to make it work. I know that Paul and Andrew are helping now and things seem to be actually getting done.

I spoke with Gregg about this. Primary reason for going with Matt is he basically handled everything from the printing, handling stock, taking orders, and fulfillment/shipping. Hardline gets a small cut of the profit although I'm sure Matt is making a nice cut. If we went with Jessica we would make a boat load more cash, but someone would have to step up and deal with the logistics of order taking/shipping.

Essentially we would have to do a pre-order, say two weeks. Everyone places their order and sends paypal funds. After two weeks you cut it off, Jessica prints the shirts, then we pack and ship. You make a lot more money that way but it's more work as well. Personally I'm not stepping up to deal with it so I'm not complaining however it gets done. But I just wanted everyone to have the details.

ALL THIS^^^^ In the past, John G did all the purchasing and handling logistics out of his pocket and time and was left holding the bag on a number of shirts that were never purchased after the fact. I do not have the time, nor the finances, to handle this. I am constantly listening to everyone asking about the different types of apparel they would like and in turn, posing it to Matt for his input. It does not bother me what Matt makes off the shirts because his time, money is being spent to help us out. The delays last year were because of myself, I was busy trying to get the logo down, and with Matt's help, updated it's looks. I hope this clears up a lot and understand that the logistics are tons more than just placing an order and waiting.
