harness question

I have no experience with a 5 point harness setup, so I figure you guys could help me out on this one. I am going to get some seats for the truck soon...Probably these http://www.corbeau.com/products/fixed_back_seats/baja_ultra/
unless someone knows a better deal out there...I gotta get the wide ones....The slimmer seats just wont work to well. Anyways my question is, the wrap around style 5 point harness fine? I dont have a roll cage, so I have no way to "correctly" fab up my mounts for a bolt or clip style 5 point harness setup. I saw the wrap style so I figured they just wrapped around your seat and it tightend up with you and the seat ???.......I just dont wanna get something that isnt gonna be safe, I enjoy seeing my wife and kids. :drinkers:

The wrap around style is for the attachment IE it wrapps around the tube and then buckle to itself. You still must have an anchor bar in the correct place for
them to be mounted correctly.

pat is right...you will need something to anchor them to...

the dont simply wrap around the seat...a bar is needed...

you will probably be best suited getting the ones that you can bolt to the floor....i have the clip in mastercraft ones and they are somewhat of a PITA to deal with....

what I have seen in the past, is take some tube and just build a harness bar that goes behind the seats and ties into the floor. that way at least you have a good solid place to mount your belts to. you have the third door, dont ya?

Seen to many roll overs without rollcages and it is not a pretty sight when it happens. Need to think of getting one for the sake of it , if not for the wife and kids

From what I have seen, the corbeau belts are just like these, with a sfi rating.
