Where'd you order your 4 points at? Looking for something affordable but not cheap/cheesy... Name brands don't matter much, I just don't want unsafe junk.

Gimme some ideas to start with here... :D

I bought mine off ebay 50.00 bucks for the pair seem allright. Now I just need to weld in a couple bolts and be done

Got mine from summit--but that was like 3 years ago(bought 3 sets)..

One thing to remember keep it simple/go with the latch style and not the fancy release style...

I disagree with that. I do have the latch style in my rig. But wish I would have gotten the cam lock.

With the cam lock, you don't have to disassemble the harness to add to it (ie, adding the shoulder straps), you just click in and go. They are way more expensive though. My next set will be cam lock.

I have used both and I like what I have now....

For what we use them for the cam locks get jammed up from the dirt and dust fairly quickly. I agree with Crash the latch style is much better for what we use them for.

Matt...

The guy on Pirate is the hook-up...I got three of them from him for 129 shipped...

They are great quality and probably made in the same Indonesian sweat shop as the name brands...

99% of the time you will only be wearing the lap belt...

If I had a ricer I'd get the cam lock simply because it's a cleaner look but the latches work perefct for a wheelin rig, especially when muddy & wet

Plus you can look down and 100% see the latch engaged...

ive had and ran both. i traded the latch style for the camlock for safety reasons, i usually only run the lap belt as brad said but then when you find yourself in that situation that you feel i might be in trouble here and i NEED THE SHOULDER harness on. well you are already in a dangerous situation and now have to undo the latch to add your shoulder straps.

with the cam lock you can just click in the additional shoulder straps.

with all that said im a pretty skinny guy and the camlocks latch sticks up way more so if you have the proverbial NW beergut you would hate the camlock digging into your belly. i actually took mine apart and reversed the camlock so it turns away from the belly vice into the belly. made it a lot more comfy.

so far after two years i have had no issue with mud or dirt clogging up the camlock. but simple does work well and the latch style has been around for ever so its a matter of preference.

ohh another good place to find a deal is expired harness from the circle track guys. i have a connection at work. when they are available they run about 35 to 40 a set for used.

x2 on the latch.

I went 5 points and very glad I did. Makes wearing the lap belt fit much better when wearing the shoulder belts decently tight. Also pay the extra $ for the padded shoulder belts.

I bought Crows through Polyperformance, they'll custom do custom colour combos to make your rig look real fancy. :redneck:

Had latch for awhile, now have had cam lock for awhile.....I prefer the cam lock style. I where my 5 points at ALL times. :hi:

When it comes to safety equipment, comfort and cost come second to function for me. Bought mine from Crow, don't remember how much.
