hatfield mcoy ??????????????

been wanting to go check out the hatfield mcoy trail system up in wv, just wondering where you all recomended staying (cabin) for a weekend ???
witch trail system to ride?
heard they were VERY strick???

Hit up elcapitain on here. He lives right there and was a big part of getting the trails set up. I'd say he knows that place better than anybody. They're really not all that strict as long as your not acting real dumb. Get on ivycityfour-wheelers.com . Good group of local guys on there and then there's a few of from the surrounding area that come down a few times a year.

There are cabins @ the ivy trailhead or there is a campground right across 119 from the little coal trailhead (about 3 miles away). Rules are helments, no drinking on the trails, stay on the marked trails and no night rides. Don't hesitate to talk with the rangers, they are a good group of level headed guys and they are reasonable. If you are not being stupid they will leave you alone.

Only the Ivy branch trail system.

I made my first trip to Ivy Saturday , great place to wheel , lots of waterfall climbs & tight trails , double black trials are more than likely some sort of body damage , had a great time

It's good wheeling, I've been there a few times. Helmet's are mandatory and it is patrolled.
