So on the way to work I lost a headlamp bulb. The dodge looks like it has hallogen bulbs. So my question is what kind of bulb do I wanna go with? I know there are a few different types out there and was hoping to swing by a parts store/wally world on 410 on my way east tonight...

I just bought some nighthawks for my Ford. Haven't used them yet. Hope they are bright. I **** canned my Hellas with 90/100 watt bulbs for them. Got tired of melting fuses and that is using relays. :mad:

I use the silver Stars in the Subaru. Really really like them. :cool:

I put the nighthawk sealed beams in my EXP and it was like driving down the road with spotlights..

So they make the night hawks in the round sealed beam? I migh ahve to get some for my F-100. :cheer:

Yep, H6024.

Hellas with the 130 watt high beams :D

If you go OEM standard 55 watters, they're all about the same... Mary stuck in a pair of Sylvania, I think, crystal white or whatever the fawk they're called, about $25/lamp IIRC, they're not too shabby.

I buy the cheap ones. They last about 3 years then I replace them with another $10 cheap one.

They illuminate the road ahead. I don't need blazing super white or cool blue for seeing. Honestly, I've never seen a difference between the sealed beam halogen lights.

I think I'll have to set up a demo on my next day off. I noticed a difference between standard halgon sealed beams and HO replacements. These Nighhawks I noticed a difference over the HOs.

Yes, I agree in seeing a noticing a difference in light. I like the clear light better then the yellow. Just my preference.

Yes, there is a noticable difference between the std. and upgrade lights. I personally hate the silverstars (dont last for ****) I used to sell them back in the day and we had so many complaints of them burning out early. I use PIAA on all my rigs and wouldnt look back. They are warrantied for a year, bright, and legal.

Dear group;
I use 130/100w bulbs and I wire them to come on together on the high beam side. I like to have LOTS of light!
