Right now I have high steer with PSCs 1 3/4 ram for assist, ORD arms ETC. I am using a tie rod clamp for the hydro mount. The tie rod is 1.5 .250 DOM. my ends are only a few months old and they seem to "lay over" a whole lot which causes the 5/8 bolt on the clamp to get close to ubolts, and the top of the diff. So the question, I recently got my Dedenbear knuckles, so while I have the old arms off, I thought it would be easy to drill the tapered holes for a 3/4 heim, then when I got full hydro there are drilled. All I need is two heims and two new tube inserts, think its worth it? Just wanting some other oppionion. Alot of people like TREs, cause of availabilty etc, but my parts stores dont stock them anyway. I do drive the rig on the road every once in a while.

Nah, man I was gunna see how they looked, cause my buddy left his electric impact at my house, but I would have to get neal to machine two more holes in each wheel, which I didnt wanna do, damn 6 lug. (or are they 5? hell I dont even know)

I hope there 6 thats what there supposed to be.

you'll need to space them up, the heim can't lay flat on the arm. even with a spacer it'll probably bring the rod lower to the springs. keep the tre's if you have them. make an idler setup that bolts on a spring plate and has a small heim there and a heim exactly the length of the steering arm hole to center away.. attach to the drag link on top. this way it moves in unison with teh arms and keep the rod perfectly upright.

Are you talking about making a 6 lug wheel to an 8 lug? That is the dumbest gayest thing I've ever heard. Not real surprising coming from you though. :flipoff1:

I'll go ahead and beat Daniel to it:

Sounds made up!
