I've got an error code for a bad O2 sensor. Went to parts store. The one they gave me is heated (and a lot bigger around). The manual says that 87-90 have heated sensors. It does not specify which kind are used in a 95:mad:.

Does any one know if the 95s need a heated sensor or not?

What happens if I install a heated sensor and it does not need a heated one?

Thanks!!!

Thanks!! I'm a huge NOOB and the book isn't clear and the new part is bigger. Didn't want to cause a worse problem by using the wrong part.

Yup it's the 2.5 in my sig.

dont use a universal, there just a PITA and half the time you'll get thhe same code after install.

Got the specific part not the universal. More money, but I figure it's worth it.

Make sure they gave you one for the 2.5L!

I made them double check that because the new part was bigger around.

Thanks!!:awesomework:

Can you read the number on the old one? I had several companies give me the wrong number (even NAPA had the wrong one listed) for my E350 cube van. The OEM was heated, but they only had non-heated apps which didn't work right and made it stall when between cold and warmed up.
