Dug into the rear axle and swapped out the studs tonight with the button head allen bolts I got from Nick. Got everything put back together and all I gotta do now is fill her back up with gear oil and cut off the excess of the bottom bolts, bleed the brakes and she's ready to roll leak free! Got some troubleshooting to do on the passenger rear brake, when I undone the brake line from that side's drum brake, no brake fluid came out and the shoes didn't look like they had been rubbing the drum at all. The driver's side drum brake looked normal and fluid came out of it. Anyway, pretty simple job for a mechanic newb. Glad to get it done. And I'm DEFINITELY glad I bought a tap and cleaned out the threaded housing holes, it would've been a BITCH putting the new bolts in if I hadn't have used the tap. And also got the new quick release fire extinguisher mount Jamie made me bolted down in the bed. I've also discovered that there are some small Pioneer speakers in the factory dash too which is an awesome find! So next thing will be finding the wires for them and running them into the 4 channel amp that currently runs the 2 6x9 marine speakers I put in. Hooray for more audio!!!
