Help w/ diff setup

I was hoping someone in the Tacoma/Spanaway area could help me set up my Toy V6 3rd. I have done 12bolt diffs and lots of big const. equip but I don't want to F this up since it's my 1st time. I got it all together but I need to reshim the spacer cause it seems too tight. I'm also not sure what the CBPL should be set at. Any help would be apperciated.

what do you mean seems to tight? You'll want to measure the rolling resistance of the pinion with an inch pound tq wrench. As far as carrier bearing preload, just get those adjusters nice and tight!

x2 with getting those side adjusters tight. Make a spanner wrench, put it on your torque wrench, and set it to at least 70 ft lbs. Just "snug" is going to going to cause deflection and brake your gears fast.
