Going good. Frame straightned. only need to build two links, needs a new brakeline, arb line, new winch and power leads. New oil pan is on. Need to replace govenor capon trans. Driveshaft and pillow block should be done this week [local shop]. sounds like alot but once everything is in front of us it wont take long. What failed was the upper control arm, it was wayyyy too thin and someone had run a self tapping screw into the tube to hold brake and arb lines to the tube. It broke right through the hole! Hes not racing West coast stuff but we may take his if we get it done. I still am waiting on a new motor that I should get Monday or Tuesday. Will switch it the day I get it. I went with a remanned this time that has inserts in the block for the head bolts. Cant wait for next weekend, no TREES and no MUD!!!!! Hot Spring MOROC a week after that and Jellico a week after that! Git 'er done!!

I saw that upper link and was wondering wtf was going on. I was talking to bender and he said he built the buggy with 7075 links and 7/8" cromo heims. I was wondering how that came in to the mix.
glad to hear you are getting it fixed up, and better than before. looking forward to seeing you guys at jellico. what beer do you drink?

Damn, with a comp schedule like that he better be drinking milk!

Glad to hear it is coming together for you guys.

Do you manufacture trailers or retail them?

Turkey 101 and Coke!!!!! We retail trailers. Wireless internet and laptops are cool, im working on the buggys and dicking off on the net at the same time! Web cam would be cool.

Hey Levi, you guys ever figure out what broke first? Looking at pics I believe the upper link might have let go first?

I saw that upper link when I was helping Levi get the rig stabilized on jack stands. I knew that link must of been a mock up link that got left in, it was like 14GA.
