hey P I'm thinking about trying out /getting a cage/helmet mounted camcorder and need a Guinna pig looking at this model

wanna try it out april 19th i'll be up there for the xrra action plus wouldnt it be cool to your ride from inside the cage on dvd?
also looking at another model that is smaller but cost like s times that

excellent thread. I was going to weld 1/4-20 studs in various locations on mine for my Xacti, but heard on another site that you shouldn't hard mount a camara like that.

RAM mounts are the **** and make mounts for about anything electronic. Highly regarded in the bike scene on and off road for GPS, Radar, XM, etc mounts. They even make gas tank video camera mounts. Gotta be something cage mountable with plenty of isolation. Hell they make laptops mounts too.

I wouldn't trust a suction cup for the extreme jarring it may see... I could be wrong but I wouldn't wanna lose a camera to find out.

i still have to get a sd camcorder to use (should be geting it in the next 2weeks)its small about the size of a ipod 1gen tried it out with my dvd camcorder worked good when i get it all i'll get up with ya to bring it up there so you can play with it to see if you want to do it (you winning or placing high up is more important than this )

Hell man if you want it to ride in a rig, im more than sure myself or Wyatt would gladly wear the thing !! id like to wear it just so I can go back and see were I made mistakes that would be awesome to go back and relive a run without beating it apart in your head .
