Hey P !

Yep... AAnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd , The owner Mr Tolbert is a finalist for the Birmingham Business Journal's Best in Business : Executive of the Year Award.

What does that mean for me.....

Nothing laughing1

It is cool to be a part of a growing fast paced company though. I really like me new job !

Ill get some pics of the parts room. Its been nice starting fresh and organizing how I want to. We put in a wall, new door and painted and all that business before moving in. Plus that sexy Hypetherm sitting in my parts room mmm mmm yummay drool Its a little cluttery right now thanks to the FAA BS lately but Im still proud of it !

I just work with better people now. Aircraft parts and flying in general really does nothing for me, but its the best Aviation job Ive had since getting into this stuff 9 years ago and alot of people would love to have the job I have now so Its all good... I like it and plan to be here a loooooooooooooooooong time.

Any who.. couple of pics, first up is the work horse N811AM, this sum bitch is always flying does alot of international flights seems to always be over the ocean on the way to or back from who knows were.

Then the parts room ( my office is seperate from the parts room ) I dont spend to much time in there honestly just in and out a few times a day . I deal with our other facilities alot so most my time is email or phone call coordinating. I say parts manager, my business card says parts manager... but corporate calls me Manager of Materials and Logistics

We have A jet based in Hong Kong I support, Then we have Cleveland, Rochester, Hawaii and then the aircraft that come and go here in the 'Ham Currently we operate 9 I believe and they say they want to add 6 more by year end  (these things are not CHEEP )

enough about that... on with the pics

Oooo Laaa Laaa! I have not had cards since 95 I think. Just no reason since I rarely leave my cube. Wait I had them in Houston.

DUDE! If you ever travel to Rochester for work and whatnot. I might be able to get up there. It's not THAT far.

Your bossman had his pilot's license at 17 and started an air charter business "JETCO" while still in college! Makes me want to go kick my parents ass for not getting me out more!

I've been doing Rochesters "inventory" via asking them to send a physical count to me and balancing it against our database. im hoping to avoid going, but they have warned me to expect visiting each facility at some point. Ill holla if its not THAT far away and you will give me a sweet handy in my hotel :flipoff1:

Yep, he was also the first to outfit a business class jet with some sorta equipment... and was involved with a record setting flight in some Boeing as i recall .... They rallied off a ton of stuff he's done when I went through in processing . Pretty interesting.

He drives a modest Bimmer, nothing to flashy I expected more car personally... laughing1

Hey P, my boss said let him know if you hear of any maintinence jobs round there... He wants to get back into that line of work instead of being a dept. supervisor round hurr...

He wanna relocate to the Ham , whats his experience ( is his A&P license current what type of Aircraft has he worked with ? )

I know several companys at BHM looking right now. We also need at least one in Cleveland and will be adding more as we aquire more aircraft. BeechJet mechanics are really wanted around BHM right now.

Cool. I'll find out I'm pretty sure his A&P is current. I'll bs with ya bout it when I see ya... I showed him the pic of the hawker 8hundo that you guys have and he said that's what he was trained on.. I know he worked for southwest and then AA before coming here.. he was laid off at AA and so that kinda put him into trying what he's doing now.... He really doesnt like management.
