The big boy joints, ( 3.0 's ) I was a little worried about them for a couple of small reasons. Maily based off of my experience and expectations from messing with Currie's Jonny Joints.

The JJ's have a machined edge on one side that a washer rests against then a washer and circle clip on the opposing side that hold all the goods in. This is a reliable way to keep the innards in , but a little more time consuming to assy.

The Ballistics have a clip in a relief on one side and washer, then everthing is held in place with a large threaded adjuster on the opposing side.

I was a bit concerned with the threaded adjuster and threads on the weld on joints , being that I just went through poorly threaded inserts from them and all that I was certain that welding them on the ends of my link tube would leave me F'd with distorted and or destroyed threads in the body of the joint. Much to my surprise though, the went together very easily and I also like the "plastic" they are using inside them as it seems to be of a much harder material and fit was very nice upon assembly.

So anyway, first impressions on these are good so far. The real test doesnt start until I get to beating on them and see how they hold up / wear compared to the JJ's ;D

I didnt, it is 1/4 wall DOM that is threaded... you can certainly see the heat marks all on the welded side of the joint but other than that it went very smooth. I was just expecting a fight I guess :flipoff1:

I didn't write that, I made them bitches right for you. Actually, I thought the quality looked good when I got them also.
