Mounting position doesn't matter at all. As long as you match the micro-farad rating and voltage(370 or 440). FYI the 440v capacitors are more durable and cost almost the same as the 370v. I only sell 440v caps to my customers.The micro-farad rating is the number followed by a funny shaped uf.
