Anyone know of someone locally that does it? Price range? I need to let the hot air from the 5.0 out of my tiny engine comparment. I'd rather not go redneck with floor grates... and letting it into the cowl works... but I also get lots of heat and fumes in through the hvac sytem... which cooks me more in the summer.

The race ace louvers are out of my price range.

Done locally in Bremerton. Very affordable. Will post up name and number when I get home tonight if you want to do it in Bremerton. Look at my intro thread and you'll see a pic. The expense is not in the louvers, but in the paint work afterwards. Tony

I like the way yours is done. I have always wondered where you got it worked on. Paint.. ahh nothing a rattle can can't fix. :redneck:

Louvers work good...but in an emergency you can space your hood up an inch at the hinges. That will help in the mean time.

His name is Torq, and he's in Silverdale/Tracyton area. Very cheap to do. Advantage is allowing escape of hot air from the radiator.
