How do we handle this?

So, it started a while back with Wyatt asking about Hardline Crawlers T-Shirts, now it has covered stickers also and of course the koozies now. I have talked to P via PM about this in the past, but how should we handle. Obviously shirts and stickers are, and should remain, for club members only. The koozies are not as big of a deal to me, but we should all discuss it on here. It is our club and if we are OK with letting everyone order koozies then that is fine, if we think that it should be a members only thing then that is fine also. We just need to talk about it and decide as a group.


I don't want to piss people off, especailly the regulars on the boards, but then again this club was designed to be small and exclusive so it should be up to us how we handle this. Also if we decide that everyone can order I feel a club member should make the arrangements and take up the money, since these are representing our club.

I say to come up with an alternate, non members logo. Perhaps a forum logo. The forum is public, so the use of that logo could be public also. The Hardline Crawlers logo would then be for members only. just an idea. That way, no one should get pissed off. Kind of like me buying CAOS shirts at the evetns. But, I do not have access to the staff shirts as i am not a member.

Maybe we just have a logo similar to what TK did for the stickers. The logo and Hardline under it. That way we leave off the Crawlers. I still feel the stickers/shirts should be for members only regardless of logos, but I am fine with putting out some Hardline Coozies.

I think Hardline Crawlers stuff would be for members, but www.hardlinecrawlers.com stuff would be for anyone. I'm totally cool with everyone advertising our site... Use a the shirt's pocket logo for the koozies, and have maybe that basic version of the skull on the opposite side? Just an idea...

To really separate it. There could be a new domain for the forum. www.HardlineForums.com. I don't know the hassle and expense of this, but I would not think too much. Then you could do anything, koozies, hats, stickers, shirts, etc with TK's logo and www.hardlineForums.com underneath. The private forum could reside hidden on the new site as now.

If there was enough forum interest for forum shirt. I say go for it.

Great ideas, I am all for raising some club funds and having seperate logo items for non-members. Ricky, how hard would a URL change be?

On a URL change. Rickey look into a new URL that just points to the existing forum as a link. Other than a cool main page, nothing to the new site at this time. Just one link to the existing board. Call me if I have confused you

I like Johns idea. Lets put hardlineforum.com on the non members shirts and keep ours hardline crawlers, if it is not to difficult to do. I would prefer to keep it seperate due to actions of others. That way their is no mistaking who is who. Forum friends or members.

Seems like that is the consensus, and I totally agree about actions of others. If someone has a hardline coozie, sticker, shirt, etc people will associate them with us regardless of if they are an actual member or not. I think right now we should just look into koozies, and leave shirts and stickers for club members. TK can your buddy make us koozies? Anybody else have a koozie supplier?

I guess, or maybe just change the URL to hardlineforums.com. Either way it would be fine I guess. Not changing the URL would make it less confusing on everyone...
