So how do you determine what a used tire is worth? Take tread depth into consideration and then look at what they cost new? Reason I am asking is I have a set of Xterrains that aren't worth **** to me, but are almost new a ton of tread--and some guy locally is interested but I have no idea what to tell him for price. They'd be $960 new by the time you ship or pay tax....Don't wanna run him off with a high price but I wanna get as much as I can. Help a brutha out. :dunno: Got a guy with cash on my front toyota axle ($800) and so if I move these tires, there's my money for the 42's pepper.gif :woody:

Half of what they were new, and if they are real low tread, up it a bit for some room to wiggle. I bet you could get 700 to the right guy and 600 if you wanted them to move pretty fast.

ya.. well I put in a bit of work for him too, drove to western kansas(great bend), unmounted the 37's off of the jeep they were on, went to tire shop that friend owns and borrowed the machine to dismount from rims... Guy sellin' em was friggin clueless that when you sell something you need to have it ready to be picked up laughing1 then had a buddy locally remount on new tires :drinkers: the 37 X 14.5 look badass with the FJ60 axles :afro:

If McClure sees this thread, the tires my dad got came off of Rick Pray's jeep, the one you did axles and tcase on back several years ago.

thanks.. startin at 700.. they would be 996 thu 4WP so figured $300 off that with wheels is a good deal, they are in damn good shape. hell Ricky B outta get these :woody:
