Hey all,
Well my TJ is getting closer and closer to having all the little issues fixed.
But here is my current issue I am trying to figure out. When I installed the STaK's transfer case it has a Rubicon speed sensor. Now I know JB uses them and so do a few others. How do I get this sensor to talk to my computer correctly? I have the Superlift TruSpeed installed and my speedo is within 1/4 MPH off my GPS. But my tranny is still not shifting right and I THINK it is that the computer isn't getting the right signal. But now I need to figure out why & how to fix it.

The rig will drive okay but is not down shifting out of 4th into 3rd. Then on a hill when it does downshift it is a quick into 3rd then into 2nd. So this is why I am thinking it is the signal it is getting from the speed sensor. I also tried the Dakota Digital signal modifier but could never get it to work.

A typical now a days shop scanner should show you exactly the MPH the vehicles computer is seeing so if you think it is reading an incorect signal thats how I would confirm it, get access to a scan tool.

IM guessing that you signal modifier has little dip switchs to change the setings? I ask cause the one I bought for my toyota/cheby did).

Well the Dakota Digital had dip switches & the SuperLift one is just a screw.
I'll have to try my scan tool and see what happens. Hadn't thought about checking it like that.
