So some people might use a lift or jackstands, but when Slim has a D300 to pull from a junk scout that is already minus the axles he uses the following method.

#1 - Fire up the old cummins 4x4

#2 - Hook to the scout to pull it out in the open so he can get at it

#3 - Hook to the scout to pull it over on it's side so we can work on it

Damn sounds like a good start to a bad porno!! :drinkers:

Please note you forgot the most important step.. and very first step.

Youll notice in pic 1 and 2 the smokey treat hangin from Slims mouth... before any motor vehicle is "fired up" first, Slim must "fire up"

That was funny! I asked Slim what he was going to use to turn the Scout over and he said, [Slim voice] I got an elastic strap out there, I'm gonna hook it up to that ole flatbed. Then i'm gonna get up to 'bout 40, before it gets tight, and jerk it right on outta there. ;D

The first time I ran Little Buffalo, one of the guys broke a 208(suprise right) about 50 yards in. We winched it onto its side in the middle of the trail, so we could patch it together enough for him to drive out. Never a dull moment on the trail with JT.
