Hydro fluid?

PSC sells a specific oil for their Hydro pumps. Is this necessary versus standard power steering fluid? What is the difference?

I have always used trans fluid with mine . Five years with no problems

We always use KSE Elixer http://www.wideopendesign.com/Product/21/KSE-Elixer-Steering-Fluid.aspx

Biggest reason we use it is the anti-foaming agents and it doesn't break down with the high temps our offroad hydraulic systems see.

I ain't saying it's better but I use cat hydraulic oil then Add an additive I have that is for worn systems helps keep it a lot cooler due to the viscocity and the temps it is Made to run. Makes a big difference in mine
