has anybody ever run 2 cyliders on the front of a chevy dana 60 what stroke cyl? and how did it work?
no problem. you need a tie rod and 2 cylinders that match the length of steering hole on the arm to the degree of steering you want. My 6" ram at 5.375" from pivot center (going from way old memory) is 39* of steering. 1 left line 1 right line, T them at axle, go to opposite sides of cyliners so they go the same way (one will push, one will pull). Steering is balanced this way without a double ended ram, but cost will probably not offset. I'd inboard some 6" cylinders and put the tie rod farther out, it will make mounting way easier and use shorter cylinders. The farther in on the arm the less leverage you have, so you'll want a larger bore than putting it 10" out and using a 2". What are you trying to accomplish, do you have a pair of 8" or something?Rockwells607 said:Old Town Customs has a 2 ram setup they sell...check em out
