push the box as far forward as you can. Alot of times I have trimmed the rad support to move the box even farther forward. This is important for draglink/tierod clearance when using rear spring packs in the front or any other method of moving the axle forward.

I managed to place mine as far forward as I could without cutting into the rad support. I also have move my front axle forward 2" and it clears the draglink with lots of room to spare. You will also have to cut the inner fender out some to make room for the gear. The intermedate steering shaft might need to be lenghtend. I got pics if needed. PM me your email address. I will be back on tonight.

i dont know about anyone else. but i wish i would have angled the box up a little.
trail -gear recomends doing this to keep the pitman arm from catching on the springs. mine catches the pitman arm if im taking a hard right, and my springs are compressed up on drivers side this sucks ass. steering then get locked to the right until i back up eniugh to let springs release.
this is a common thing i know others with this problem.
trail-gear forum just had a little write up about this. just hold the box as far forward as you can(mine is all the way against radiator support.) to give proper tie rod,and drag link clearance.otherwise they will hang up on each other. angle box up a little. take a straight edge and follow motion of pitman arm and make sure it dont catch frame. :awesomework:
did you get the box mount kit with plates and tubes for the frame? this is a must! keeps frame from twisting and breaking. i found out the hard way. good luck!!

As said before, Move the box as far forward as possible. Yes, you should cut the core support to get it further forward. From there i just made my pitman as flat as possible and plated the heck out of the frame. Plan on lengthening the steering shaft.
