I've had my duramax up to 130 before. It was still picking up speed at a pretty good clip too but I figured it was past time to back off.One day I was talking to an old man at the diesel pumps who had a truck like mine. He started talking about tuners and asked how fast I'd had my truck up to before. When I told him 130 he just smiled and said he put his on the race tune one time and took his truck up to 170mph. F that, 170 in a p/u is just dumb. Crazy old man..
