My intention was not for it to save my life, maybe aid in a roll over if it ever happend. I did it for looks...


Then it looks fine. As far as rollover protection its not going to help much due to the bed sides crumpling.:booo:
 
I'm with pokey, but it will help some over not having anything at all behind you, not much, but some...
If I were you , I'd make it tie into the frame of the rig with some tube, and plates, gussett the top corners, and do some sort of cross tube behind the cab...this will help with safety, and still look good, and still be removeable...
 
In a rollover the back half is going to be fine. The front part of your cab and hood are going to take the abuse. The weight is all in the front.
 
good start... now run some tube from the truck frame in side the bed sides to plates and then bolt it through to the angle iron.

Im planing on doing a interior cage.. I really wanted a exo but I cant find something that I liked enough to try my own idea of yet.
