Flat top knucles and high steer arms are the two major items needed (besides a tie rod/ect)

Nope. You might need a different pitman arm.

Wait wait... What's this axle going into?

Why do you want cross-over instead of full awn hi-steer?

the axle is in a toyota body thats sittin on a 70s k5 frame! my truck steers like **** so one of my buddies told me to do a crossover steering so i was just wondering what i need and where i could find it for the cheapest

Could you post some pics of what you have?

I would assume that you have serious bump steer because your drag link isn't level, right? The high steer arm is going to raise the axle end of the drag link, obviously, but whether that makes it level is going to depend on a couple factors, including your pitman arm, how the box mount coincides with axle position, and/or ride height.

To do crossover, you need a passenger side flat top knuckle and a high steer arm to match, and a stud kit. You're looking at somewhere in the just-under-a-hundred-bucks range for the arm. You'll have to have the knuckle milled and drilled to accept the arm, since passenger side knuckles never came that way from the factory.

Crusty,

I think he's got a typical Chevy Pickup here (k5-frame) with a Toy shell sitting on top. If I recall correctly, they have that boomerang shaped high steer arm, connected to a side steering widget.

yOU ARE corect--push/pull steering..

Don't forget, you'll need a 2wd chevy box and a different pitman arm to make it steer from side to side.
