I have been bit by the desert racing bug! Between spending hours watching race vids on youtube with Jamie, and a bunch of buddies going to Baja for the 1000 it's been on my mind! I can't wait to do some mods to my ZJ so it'll handle some mild offroad speed. ;D

I really think I've got a good start. I need to do some unibody plating, truss the front axle, and improve my uptravel and I think it'd be good for some mild speed.

Shoot homie, there are plenty of places around here that are perfect for what I want to do. MMORV especially, all those smoothish access trails would be awesome! When I get a chance to make a template, Randy's gonna hook me up with some plate for my unibody. So there's step one! 8)

Yeah, I've been watching his build. I'm actually gonna see it in a couple weeks and I might steal some ideas. ;D That's almost exactly how I want to do my front axle too... Especially those bump mounts!
