Im itching to get REAL ill with SweetPea...

Low buck ill, but Im talking small tire trail killer style. I want to do it up like a light weight version of the Turd, except keep all the cab and doors for inclimate weather wheeling.. Damn I hate living in an apartment.

Only thing I can do right now is start collecting parts I guess laughing1

Leave the front open I say. Keeps the front alive and saves money on a locker and longs.

Q78 Swampers are what I would go with. 35" tallish and narrower than a typical 33-35" x 12.5" tire. Although I ran 33x12.5 TSL bias for a good while (drove to Moab and back) and they wear like iron.

Does it have high steer yet?
 
Dood its a sweetpea, its locked front and rear already, has birf eliminators , power steering and the AC works... its geared 5.38s in the diff's too. :****:

Im talking more along the lines of tube and protection, and linking the rear end on coil springs with N2 bumps so I can raise hell on the cheapy cheap.

You got the gears and lockers. Just add some tires (if it needs any) and have fun.

Gotta love a 1st gen for some cheap beatin'. Throw a 4.7 gearset in it and rock on. You seem to have everything else ready on there.

Tcase is stock... I do have a new budbuilt skidplate for it though.. its sitting in the garage holding the wall up. :woot:

I bought a BONE STOCK samurai with no title one time for $100.00 ,put a Trail Tough mini spool in the back,sawed the bumpers off to clear some 235/75 mud & snows,

and we had a ****IN BLAST WITH IT for a few weeks ,I hit a tree with it ,turned it over, got SLUNG OUT OF IT AND ALL,and we kept takin turns drivin it , cut doughnuts & figure 8,s and TRASHED my back yard ,

then I traded it for a NICE Murray riding lawn mower, wich I still have, I had a LARGE time with it & still miss it to this day !

I guess what I am tryin to say is DON,T FIX UP SweetPea too nice , and it will be more fun , and will still GO LIKE HELL :****:
 
I have no intentions on tearing the **** outta ol girl, just a nice lil booze cruiser ! It goes like stink already SON , she's locked and loaded baby !
 
Oh yea, forgot... Im going to get it tagged this month ( since I gotta reup the Jeep, CoPay I might as well give them all my lunch money and tag SweetPea too ! )
