Just noticed in the new catalog that McMaster Carr now carries "tube end weld nuts" or better known in this group as threaded inserts for building links. They only have them up to 1"-14 thread though. They range from $5-$7 for everything except the 1"-14 which is $21. Dunno if those prices or good or bad but if you need to know where you can get them overnight in an emergency McMaster never fails!

Yep....lefts and rights for 2 sizes of tube....$6.12 ea.

Yeah I saw those the other day. This is sad , but when I have a long cycle time at work I just sit and look the big book all the time.
