So I was talking to a guy the other day and asked him how good of mileage he was getting he has same truck (dodge 2500 04)same kind of stuff done on it(cold air,exaust,programer/chip) he said he was getting 39mpg acrost the board and when he puts it to the floor he gets 36 he said the only thing he had I didn't was an in line fuel heater. Anyone hurd of this? Anyone have any ideas?

By a quick google search, inline fuel heaters look to be made to prevent the gelling of diesel fuel in extreme cold. It should have nothing to do with gas mileage, and I would seriously doubt that he is getting that kinda mileage.

I want some of what that guy is using (drugs wise)... there is no frickin way he is getting 38 mpg...:haha: :haha: :haha:

I've got an 01 with a 5speed and 4.10 gears w/ programmer, intake and exhaust. at freeway driving i get 19 mpg w/ the cruise set at 64 to 67 mph...

the guy is a dipshit.. Simple as that. Jackass still reads the overhead red out .

Tell him to follow me over to Spokane and back Tuesday. If he gets even 29 mpg, I'll pay for his fuel.
