Based on your username I'd guess this is related to a Toyota, but not for sure.

So tell us a bit about what you are working on.

Takein leaf spring hangers to inside the frame an its 91 Toyota plan on putting tons under it on 40s .seen a few trucks running them this way an was curious if it made a difference

Moving in gives you more flex but more body roll
Moving out gives you less flex and less body roll

I would leave them with in the same place because with the full width axles you will still get a little more flex over your stock axle

Only reason to in board leafs is

1 your truggy is way low so you can stand a little instabilty
2 your truck is super light wieght in the ass end and needs some leverage to help the springs flex
3 your width is near stock width and the leafs need leverage to work

Im runnin a set of chevy 63's on a yota frames buggy with stock width and 38 boggers on recentered h1'sh1'sh1's
And if i had to do it again i would have frenched my hangers in the frame instead ive s'd 3 sets of spring before i found bumpstops

OK thanks for help on that fellas. One more? What leaf spring set up gets the most flex the 63s or buying after market spring

Personal experience for me was to just go with used 63" springs, versus buying aftermarket springs. On my CJ7, I ran 63'' Dodge Ram springs in the rear and they flexed great. Buying new, aftermarket springs will take some time to break in and ride right in my opinion.
