I would just run a np241it will have a good enough gear ratio that with the 4l60 it'll crawl decent/good with the proper axle gears for tires. (3:1 first gear in the 4l60)When he graduates to wanting to crawl more extreme trails, he'll want a doubler or low geared Atlas anyway.
