so i was gonna sit in my truck during break today and listen to the radio. of course, its like 37 degrees out, so i started it up. after about 5 minutes, i started smelling burning oil. looked behind me, and sure enough there was a big blue cloud behind my truck. revved it to about 4k a couple times and it stopped smoking. this has happened to me before, the last time was probably 3 months ago when i was driving down a fire road on my way home from wheeling, one of the guys with me got on the CB and told me my truck was smoking like crazy. revved it up then and it wouldnt stop, but by the time i got home it had quit. i had someone suggest a stuck PCV, i havent gotten around to checking that yet, but does anyone else have any ideas?
