Kansas, where we know how to wheel, nowhere to go
its driving now, but has bad wheel hop. could be the fact that the ladder bar pivot point to center of axle tube is about 18* uphill. little bit of axle hop. going to move the mount in front down some. For now, just driving it.
have to admit, ended up looking good, even dirty as balls (I still don't like the faded ass toolbox)

no dually fenders yet, though. molaugh they're headed to do that right now.

Are yall just using the leaf spring hanger as the front mounting point for the link? Two links and a panhard?

I really, really want to link the back of my f-450, just can't decide the best way to approach it. Definitely don't want it to hop or squat under heavy acceleration.

yup, using the front leaf perch. the way top do it, then is to set your proposed ride height, run a ruler from teh center of the axle tube to the center of the leaf perch and see your angle at said ride height. this is with the front at height on level ground, of course. Then you set it up like a 1 link. steep up angle you're gonna have anti squat.
someone good with links help me out, does it go from teh center of your axle or the center of your contact patch? if CP is the case, push the front of the ladder out under the drivers door or so laughing1
If I were to do it, I would make it adjustable to get my optimum setup.

That thing is gonna look badass !! the toolbox needs to go in the garbage though , I agree there 110%

And he needs like 4 fittys in the bed thumb.gif pepper.gif

Normal leaf spring bushings at the front of the link? Any bushings at the axle, or just ubolts holding securing axle to link?

Ubolts holding 3/8" wall square tube (3x3) to spring perch and a poly bushing that's like 3.5" wide and huge as fawk in a 1/4" wall DOM sleeve welded adn braced to the tube. that said, I had nothing to do with the design or execution of said truck. I'm only taking pics and reporting.
