Got this from Elf Cruiser on Pirate last year
Hey guys - since you've all expressed interest, we'd love to have you out here for some West Coast style rockcrawling. We (the BTG crew) are pretty freed up during the month of April and early May. I would recommend trying to get in a full 3 days of action. Preferrably a Friday/Sat/Sunday. There are enough trails around the area to make it happen. If you guys like to camp out - there is plenty of room for RV's etc. within minutes of the trails. If you prefer hotels, etc. look for something on the N side of Phoenix, or in the town of Anthem. The trails are near Black Canyon City (no hotels there that are worth a ****, though). Also - this is kind of an invitation-only type of thing. We'd like to keep it to a smaller group, say 5 to 6 rigs. Problem is - out here, when someone breaks it clogs up the whole trail and it usually takes a lot of time to get off the trail. We almost never take more than about 10 rigs in one run. The trails here can be pretty tight, and there is usually no way back - except to back down all the obstacles.
So - there ya have it, let me know what you guys want to do, and we will set something up. Any questions, just fire away...

Hey all - just throwing this back out there for 2009. I know a few of you will be at the KOH race, which probably kills the 2009 travel budget. But - maybe you'd like to stop in Phoenix for a day or two on the way back from JV and finish off your rigs if they are still running, lol! Also, I know Timmy and Patooyee are working on new rigs, so may not be wheeling for a little while, nbd. Just wanted to say that the invite is still open. All the East vs. West crap in that Cadillac thread got me to thinking it would be nice if you guys could post up some video of your buggies spanking the hardest climbs out here. Just let us know...
