Everything about that statement is wrong. I have been using Apple laptops for 4 years and have had ZERO problems. I have had several PC's and laptops over the years and was always having Windows and storage related problems. I have had none of that since I started using Macs. I also do not have to deal with the biggest scam of all, having to purchase virus protection and firewalls. People can say what they want, but Apple is worth the upfront cost in the end with the savings in repair bills, virus scans, and HEADACHES dealing with the bullshit Microsoft problems.

And for the record, I did say I would not have bought an iPad out of my pocket.

I agree 100% I know its not a laptop, but we have had our iMac for about 3 years and have had ZERO issues with it. It is just as fast now as it was when we got it and we have 1000's of high res pics, lots of vids and some full length movies on it. I recently bought MS office for it so I could do school work on it since the classes require using word for papers/assignments. It is nice not worrying about viruses and if my antivirus or spyware programs are all up to date. We will never buy another PC for a home computer and we have had MANY different kinds....including the most problematic Dells....

Save some cheddar, dont get the Ipad and buy a Mac....'
